Upgrading to Windchill 9.0 M080?

There is an important bulletin out on PTC’s website regarding customers who are upgrading to Windchill 9.0 M080.  Issues that are encountered when upgrading are:

  • UpgradeManager hangs at Execute Server Migrators (UpdateVersionIDMigrator).
  • One of the Execute Server Migrators (Requiring New Data) failed with the error “wt.lifecycle.LifeCycleException: This object is undergoing a review process and possible promotion to the next phase. No changes are allowed.”
  • User subscriptions are missing after an upgrade from 8.0 M040 to 9.1 M010.
  • Upgrade Manager ACL Rule Template Migrator fails.
